Cover letter translations with precision & proficiency
When translating CVs, it is important to note that they should generally be structured in chronological and tabular form. In addition to the most important personal data - address, nationality, date of birth - your resume should contain a list of previous educational and professional achievements. It is just as important to list the relevant data in detail as it is to name and describe previous employers and internships, the respective areas of responsibility and activities, additional qualifications as well as any further training and stays abroad. If they are relevant to the job in question, hobbies can also be listed in the CV. In Germany and other European countries, it is also customary to submit a recent application photo with the application documents. In the USA, however, this is not done for possible discrimination reasons. Furthermore, a CV should not exceed two pages. The font and font size can be chosen freely, as long as good legibility is guaranteed. A clear structure, clarity and flawless spelling go without saying.
